I discovered this earlier this year and love it and bought lots as gifts for Xmas. Nice colour and very moisturising
Perfect colour and lovely hydration. Anything Lano makes i love! This is less hydrating than the 101 balm but thats expected. I have almost ever shade but Necter is my favorite. Work desk staple♡ Thanks Team Lano X
Great product. When I wear balm/gloss I want something that actually moisturises, adds a tint of colour to define my lips, stays on (I only want to have to reapply about every 4 hours), and isn't sticky. This is it!!
I had sore cracked lips and this fixed them. It stays on most of the day and has a slight colour so it doesn't just look like shiny gloss.
Also Lanolips is against animal testing. Beautyheaven customer review.
The Tinted Balm in Rose is alright. SPF 30 is a plus but the colour part isnt exactly a knockout. Its very sheer nude rose so doesnt do much more than even out my natural lip colour. Its very glossy so I guess if you dont actually want a lot of colour, this is an all in one product. Unfortunately, it is a bit sticky. Not as bad as some glosses and balms, but enough that wearing outdoors on windy days is going to be a problem. Measuring against other glosses, lasting power is reasonable. You might get 2-3 hours out of it before reapplication provided there is no eating or drinking.
The smell is I dont know how to describe it. Granny mixed with sunscreen? Thankfully this doesnt translate to an awful taste, but its definitely one to be mindful of if you are sensitive to scent.
The packaging is a fairly standard 12.5 gram plastic squeezy tube with a screw off lid and an angled applicator tip with a huge opening. It does the job however I feel that with the size of the opening, there is potential for mess.
As far as being what I imagine an ointment to be that is a salve or something that repairs, I dont feel that this does a great job. Fine as a moisturiser for otherwise healthy skin, but not cut out for the task of helping severely dry, cracked or otherwise damaged lips.
What you have is a product that gives you a little bit of colour, a little bit of sunscreen and a little bit of moisture. Jack of all trades, master of none. Great if youre travelling light, but this is not something I can see myself using every day unless Im on holiday. Its reasonably priced at under $15 and probably great for those people who prefer a more natural glossy lip look. For me, I think Ill stick to proper lip colour and treatment when I need it. This gloss is extremely soothing and as I try to buy Australian brands where I can, I am a huge fan of Lanolips. Being an Australian brand I am also super happy that it has SPF 30! Lips are too easy to forget about when it comes to sun but they too are exposed to the same issues the rest of our skin is. The product is very easy to apply with your finger or directly to your lips given its nice slated design.
The gloss itself doesnt last a while but I think that is the case with all glosses given we're always talking/speaking/eating etc. Beautyheaven customer review.
