Dry skin is our thing.

Healthy skin starts with hydration. That’s why we always start with lanolin. And then we add only what we need. We believe great skincare should be easy. LANOLIPS is essential, Aussie lanolin skincare - minus the synthetics & hocus pocus. No BS. Choose better, use less.

Think of us as the jeans and white tee for your face.

Made With Love & Lanolin

Lanolips uses lanolin to hydrate & heal skin in the most natural way possible.

Lanolin is a deeply moisturising oil naturally occurring in sheep’s wool, humanely (and cruelty-free) sourced by Australian sheep farmers.

Farming + Love + Lanolin

100 Years Of Heritage

One of Founder, Kirsten Carriol’s, fondest memories from childhood is how her grandfather’s calloused hands magically become soft after a day of shearing sheep’s’ wool on the family farm.

She learned why from her father, a molecular scientist: wool contains lanolin, which mimics the hydrating oils of human skin.

After years of working in beauty, and countless chapped lips & tubes of every balm imaginable, Kirsten knew that when it comes to moisturising & healing skin, you can’t improve on lanolin.

She created Lanolips, a lanolin-based skincare line, using the highest quality lanolin sourced (cruelty-free) from Australian farmers and their sheep - as the most natural answer to dry skin.

With lanolin, your skin has literally met its match.

What Is Lanolin?

Lanolin Nature's Wonder Moisturiser

All our products are made with lanolin – a deeply moisturising oil naturally occurring in sheep’s wool.  Humanely (and cruelty-free) sourced from Australian sheep farmers.

Lanolin mimics the skin’s own oils to heal and hydrate and is so safe doctors recommend it to treat burns, and mothers can use it with nursing infants.

We believe in it so much; we use it everywhere.

Behind the brand: Sheep Shearing

Is Lanolin good for your skin?

Of course, just because an ingredient is all-natural doesn’t mean it’s automatically safe for your skin. So, is lanolin good for your skin? Yes!
Lanolin is scientifically proven to mimic lipids in human skin extremely closely, meaning it’s less likely to irritate even the most delicate, sensitive skin. Additionally, lanolin can hold up to 400% of its weight in moisture while still being semi-occlusive which allows your skin to breathe without ever leaving any sticky residue behind.

It is so safe, doctors recommend lanolin to treat burns and mothers can use it with nursing infants.
